Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.0 | Full Time | 40 hours per week | Primarily Monday - Friday/ 0800-1700 (8am-5pm)

Position Summary

The Patient Access Supervisor contributes to Asante's operations by planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining programs, policies, and management systems in all facets of the Department. Works closely with staff on collaborative functions required to effectively gather information needed for billing and collection. Serves as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Asante.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively more responsible hospital-based experience in patient registration or patient access, volunteer services, guest services, facilities, or a related field, required
  • Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field, preferred
  • CHAM: Certified Healthcare Access Manager, preferred
