Job Overview

We're hiring a Process Engineer Intern to join our team at the Marvin Composites plant in Fargo, ND.

As a Process Engineer Intern, you’ll dive into the exciting realm of new product development, collaborating with diverse teams like Product Development, R&D, Quality, and Tool and Die. Gain valuable experience by evaluating and enhancing manufacturing processes, providing essential operational and technical support, and contributing to the development of comprehensive process documentation. This internship is your chance to turn your interest in manufacturing into real-life, impactful experience that sets the stage for your future success!

This position offers a paid internship at our Fargo facility, where you will work closely with the Process Engineering team. Expect a full-time commitment during the summer and flexible part-time hours throughout the school year.

Highlights of your role

• Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Quality, and Tool and Die teams to aid in new product development, including trials and quality testing
• Assist in evaluating manufacturing processes, eliminating gaps, and developing SOPs for production
• Provide operational and technical support for production lines.
• Recommend processing changes to improve production performance.
• Contribute to the development of process documentation, evaluation, and flow mapping, including statistical process capability analysis.
  
  

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Proficiency in Creo Parametric
• Understanding of geometrical and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T) and ability to read prints
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

• Junior or Senior status working toward a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
