This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 6 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be during our normal business hours.
If you are located within the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities
- Review data to ensure invoice accuracy and work through specific billing discrepancies
- Provide input to policies, systems, methods and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function
- Receive invoices and remitting payments through online applications
- Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed
- Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of Medicaid billing experience
- 1+ years of hospital / facility billing experience
- Billing experience with UB04 form
- Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort/filter, and work within tables) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
- Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm PST, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime, based on the business need
- 1+ years of acute hospital billing experience
- Nevada and / or CA Medicaid billing experience
- Reside within the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
- Ability to multi-task and to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
- All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy
