The Royal Caribbean Group’s Silversea Cruises Ltd brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Financial Analyst reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst.

This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst position is the primary force behind the analysis, reporting and control, as well as budgeting and forecasting processes of the Silversea Brand (Hotel operations expenses).

He/she will insure the business operational link between Finance and all other departments.

He/she will implement effective cost control measures through accurate reporting to enable decision making by management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyze Hotel operations expenses for SSC Brand.
  • Provide support to different departments for budget/forecast development and analysis.
  • Provide support for monthly dashboards preparation and brand performance meetings.
  • Provide support for ad hoc requests and analyses to the Manager.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and monthly forecasts.
  • Monitor monthly performance, including actuals and variances against forecasts, providing explanations of > $ 100 k variances.
  • Support month-end closing process and collaborate with Accounting and Hotel operations departments.
  • Prepare and refresh monthly dashboards for departments, responding to additional reporting requests as necessary.
  • Develop proficiency in the functionalities of reporting tools such as Navision, COGNOS, and ESSBASE.
  • Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis and controlling.
  • Preferably experience in Hospitality / Air / Travel / Cruise businesses.
  • Ability to deal with databases and contain excellent Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships.
  • Navision, Essbase/Hyperion and Cognos experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, French (optional).
