Laundry Attendant - #1403726

We are looking for a professional, energetic Laundry Attendant. They will have the goal of daily creating a clean and orderly environment for guests, which in turn will directly strengthen the reputation of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wilmington Hotel managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts.

This is a Part-Time position.

Overview

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Potential Career Paths

Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.
• Load dryers.
• Know the operating function of the machines.
• Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis.
• Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards.
• Place folded linen on marked shelves.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.
