Lodi Commons Senior Living is looking for an experienced Painter to join our team. This position is part time.
Scheduled hours are from Monday-Wednesday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Painter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of the community by performing interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and minor repair work. The Painter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of the community by performing interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and minor repair work. This role is essential to keeping our communities looking clean, fresh, and inviting for current and prospective residents.
Job Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform touch-ups, repainting, and finishing in vacant units, occupied residences, and common areas.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards during painting projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment as required. Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to prioritize painting projects and meet deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism while working in occupied spaces.
- Graffiti removal from the interior and exterior of buildings.
- Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment by following established inspection procedures.
- Receive and complete work orders while maintaining accurate records on material and labor used.
- Other duties could include working in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absences or shortage of staff in other trades or to perform duties associated with light construction projects.

Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience painting in a professional setting, preferably in Residential Communities
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid CA Driver License
