This role will influence processes for improving business planning, cross functional communication, work integration and teamwork between partners from cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate to fill this role is equal parts strategic thinker, process aficionado, problem solver, logical task-master and collaborative team member.

Leveraging Your Previous Experience, You Will

  • Serve as primary project management contact for highly complex and visible process improvement projects to develop innovative ways of working for cross-functional Brand teams.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand existing process, solution around new ways of working and propose new approaches that achieve organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate sessions with cross functional teams to lead discovery / intake, process walk throughs and feedback sessions.
  • Change management experience in rolling out new ways of working.
  • Create and manage project schedules and status to keep teams on track and informed.
  • Anticipate & mitigate challenges and escalate risk when necessary to successfully gain alignment on best path forward.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to establish cross functional, collaborative relationships with business partners.
  • Ability to lead complex program and project efforts through ambiguity when process or path forward is not always clear.
  • Ability to facilitate large group conversations to extract insights to move the work forward.
  • 5-7+ years in project management, creative / innovative environments or retail / corporate marketing.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
