Job Overview

Maintco is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to support our growing operations in the Greater Seattle area. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a minimum of five years' experience in restoration and remodeling. As a key member of our team, you'll manage incoming leads, conduct site assessments, prepare accurate estimates, and work closely with both project management and company leadership to ensure excellence from bid to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound project leads and schedule timely site inspections.
• Conduct thorough job site assessments, take measurements, and create floorplans using provided software.
• Accurately document the scope of visible and anticipated work.
• Capture detailed job site photos to support estimated development.
• Leverage knowledge of local building codes and regulations to inform estimates.
• Prepare detailed, data-driven cost estimates in line with current market pricing.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and third-party representatives to negotiate and finalize scopes and budgets.
• Work in coordination with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate project delivery and client satisfaction.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in restoration and/or remodeling estimating.
• Strong understanding of all construction phases and how they sequence together.
• Proven proficiency in cost development and unit cost estimating.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Xactimate and digital take-off software strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High integrity, professionalism, and critical thinking abilities.
