Royal South Toyota Mazda Volvo is hiring an Oil & Lube Rack Tech to join our team in Bloomington, Indiana. This will be a full-time hourly position responsible for executing light preventive & scheduled maintenance services on customer vehicles. The ideal candidate pays extra attention to detail, learns quickly, and will service vehicles accurately and effectively once trained. You will be responsible for your work area cleanliness and helping the shop stay neat & organized whenever time permits. Our traffic continues to grow so the opportunity is here! Responsibilities & Possible Duties
- Perform lube, oil and filter services on customer vehicles using manufacturer appropriate practices and process.
- Perform tire services including tire rotation, repair, & tire balancing.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance services, such as air and cabin filter replacement.
- Test and inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems or repairs needed.
- Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer, dealership and governmental standards.
- Communicate clearly & respectfully with customers and fellow team members.
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Some knowledge of automotive maintenance
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have basic hand tools
- Ability to lift, carry and move up to 30 lbs
- Ability to use computer to access repair information
