Position Overview

QuesTek Innovations LLC, a leading innovator in Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME), is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to support our expanding operations. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is ideal for a skilled professional with corporate IT experience, project management proficiency, and strong expertise in network and security. The IT Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating systems, resolving technical challenges, and implementing IT solutions that drive business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the business in overseeing IT operations and projects.
• Manage and support IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support to end users.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
• Participate in IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Support IT compliance efforts and maintain documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify IT needs and deliver solutions.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or 5+ years of corporate IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs) and IT security principles.
• Experience with IT project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with IT compliance and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise applications and systems administration.
• Communication: Exceptional networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
