DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at DCIDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! We are currently searching for a high caliber Clinical Review Coordinator to help facilitate the organ donation process by conducting a thorough quality review of medical records. If you have expertise in quality management, medical record review, and medical terminology, this is the job for you!!. This will be a hybrid role – meaning some duties may be completed remotely and some duties will be completed in the office.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

  • Performs quality review of medical records to ensure accuracy.
  • Critically analyzes medical records and identifies communicable diseases, infections, cancers. etc.
  • References multiple sources to obtain medical record completion. Analyzes clinical data to identify reportable information.
  • Documents deviation from standard operation procedures and reports escalates appropriately.
  • Participates in internal and external auditing.
  • Identifies trends and opportunities for improvement through the Quality Management System.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related healthcare field.
  • Two years of healthcare/medical records or OPO experience required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: ASQ Quality, CQIA or equivalent preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of computers to include Microsoft Office, strong data entry and typing skills required.
