The Impact You’ll Make

As a Logistics Quality Analyst at Lam, you will help make global logistics operations more efficient, effective, and error free. You're responsible to orchestrate, streamline, and error proof material flow, ensuring efficient supply chain operations and maintaining optimal inventory flow. Your role encompasses a broad set of responsibilities including supply chain services, inventory control, and ensuring critical parts are available through enterprise warehouse and inventory systems. Your skilled analysis will support reduction of errors caused by Logistics operations. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing Lam's logistics processes for seamless operations.

What You’ll Do

• As a Logistics Quality team member, you are accountable for delivering on quality objectives through the establishment of effective accountability systems.
• Works as part of the Logistics Quality team to improve processes and share BKMs to improve results.
• Works with other analysts and managers to establish expertise in problem statement creation and root cause determination (5Why/Ishikawa).
• Ensures the voice of the Warehouse/Depots on quality is accurately and consistently represented globally.
• Program manages execution and quality of investigations and RCCA’s to cycle time objectives in assigned warehouses and regions.
• Develops analytical capability to identify trends and patterns in quality data to drive required improvements.
• Evaluates logistics performance to drive quality improvements in Global Logistics operations. Participates in activities and uses available resources to respond to the customer on quality resolution and requests.
• Identifies, recommends, and drives corrective and preventative actions in logistics operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or a related discipline.
• Eight (8) years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with completing process improvement projects in a warehouse or manufacturing environment that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expert in analyzing data from different sources to drive business solutions.
• Expert in use of analytical tools like MS Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of the 8D problem solving method.
• Knowledge of Lean/Sig Sigma.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min $89,000 - Max $205,000.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
