Job Summary
Kenah One Health Care Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist/Counselor to provide individual, group, and family therapy services to clients experiencing mental health challenges. The therapist will assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

The therapist will assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) or LGPC (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor).
- Higher levels of licensure (LCSW-C, LCPC) are encouraged to apply.
- Must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners or the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
- Strong clinical documentation skills and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of confidentiality laws, ethics, and professional standards.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders.
- Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals to coordinate integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies as needed.
- Educate clients and families on coping strategies, mental health wellness, and community resources.
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations to support client care.
