The Program Director – CBAS plays a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) services. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for the overall development, implementation, coordination, and management of the program, with a strong emphasis on participant-centered care, regulatory compliance, and inspiring servant leadership.

About The Role
The Program Director – CBAS plays a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) services. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for the overall development, implementation, coordination, and management of the program, with a strong emphasis on participant-centered care, regulatory compliance, and inspiring servant leadership.
What You’ll Do
Program & People Leadership:
- Direct all aspects of the CBAS program: nursing, therapy, social services, activities, nutrition, transportation, and billing
- Lead a multidisciplinary team with empathy, encouragement, and a “lead-by-example” mindset
- Supervise staff, contractors, and volunteers while promoting a culture of support and accountability
- Coordinate and approve participant care plans (IPCs) and maintain accurate health records
- Ensure compliance with state and federal ADHC/CBAS regulations
- Maintain census levels and monitor program finances to meet operational goals
- Submit timely reports to licensing and regulatory agencies
- Manage partnerships with health plans and vendors for credentialing and standards
- Be a visible, trusted leader who fosters team growth and morale
- Champion a resilient, person-centered environment with room for innovation
- Embody servant leadership and help shape a positive, forward-looking organizational culture
- A self-aware, confident, and vulnerable leader who communicates with clarity and heart
- An enthusiastic team builder with experience in senior services, adult health, or social work

- A servant leader who listens deeply, leads compassionately, and inspires trust
- Someone who finds joy in being present, building people up, and working hands-on
- Master’s degree in rehabilitation, social science, or related field (required)
- LCSW or equivalent licensure (highly desirable)
- 5+ years of leadership experience in senior services or a related setting
- Knowledge of CBAS/ADHC regulations and strong budgeting/oversight experience
- CPR/First Aid (within 6 months of hire), TB clearance, and background check required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
