About The Role
The Procurement Specialist at Hinge Health serves as a strategic partner for stakeholders across the organization, guiding them through procurement processes while optimizing organizational spend. This customer-focused role involves collaborating closely with Legal, Security, Privacy, and Finance teams to ensure compliant and efficient purchasing. You'll manage our Zip procurement system, develop strong vendor relationships, and negotiate favorable terms to maximize value. This position is essential in creating a seamless procurement experience for internal partners while supporting Hinge Health's financial objectives and operational efficiency.
What You'll Accomplish
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
Basic Qualifications
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $104,000 - $156,000/year.

What You'll Accomplish
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization, guiding them through the procurement lifecycle and serving as their trusted advisor
- Review, approve, and process procurement requests through the Zip system with accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee Zip source to pay, manage all purchase requisitions and provide final PO approval.
- Collaborate with Legal, Security, Privacy, and Finance to ensure all purchases meet compliance requirements and business standards
- Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and maximize value
- Lead contract negotiations to optimize costs and ensure spending aligns with budgetary guidelines
- Implement and optimize procurement processes that balance efficiency with appropriate controls
- Educate internal teams on procurement best practices and effective utilization of procurement systems
- Track and analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve forecasting

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or vendor management roles
- Experience using procurement systems or related financial management tools
- Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a procurement capacity
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to secure favorable vendor terms
- Experience with Zip procurement system or similar procurement platforms
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience in a healthcare or SaaS environment
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for vendor management
- Experience building procurement processes in high-growth organizations
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating spending patterns and vendor performance
