About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you’ll design and build AI solutions, focusing on LLMs and modern coding practices. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) to process and analyze diverse datasets, including unstructured data like documents and reports.
- Write clean, efficient code using modern languages to build AI tools and integrate them with cloud platforms.
- Experiment with AI frameworks like Hugging Face, TensorFlow, or PyTorch to optimize model performance.
- Collaborate with team members to prototype, test, and iterate on AI-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging AI technologies and coding best practices.
- Contribute ideas to shape the direction of our AI initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of coding experience, with a focus on AI or machine learning projects.
- AI/ML Skills:
- Experience building or fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) using Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and processing unstructured data for AI applications.
- Knowledge of generative AI tools (e.g., LangChain, Llama, or cloud-based AI services).
- Programming Skills:
- Proficiency in modern, versatile languages like Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI deployment.
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices, such as version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly to technical and non-technical team members.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with in-office and remote collaboration.
- Must reside local to any of our office locations nationwide.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or personal AI/ML experiments (e.g., GitHub portfolio).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes for scalable AI deployments.
- Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional ML Engineer, or Azure AI Engineer).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for building AI-driven interfaces.
- Understanding of SQL for data querying and management.
- Prior use of Tableau for creating visualizations and experience with data analytics.
