We Are Seeking a Hands On Manufacturing Engineering Technician To Assist Our Growing Team! The Manufacturing Engineering Tech Will Be a Critical Part Of The Manufacturing Engineer Team And Will Be Responsible For:

• Providing rapid response to the production team members when an urgent issue arises causing downtime and/or blocking the normal flow of production.
• Processing and creating manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions, standard work, routings, engineering changes, etc.
• Performing equipment/process troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Assisting in developing and maintaining robust, cost-efficient manufacturing processes and product structures consistent with lean manufacturing practices.
• Promoting culture of continuous improvement and understands lean manufacturing techniques as they apply to eliminate waste and deliver products to customer’s expectations.
• Assisting with Implementation of process improvements and equipment.
• Supporting design validation builds, process validation builds and start of production.
• Analyzing production data and recommend improvements for cycle time, waste reduction, and cost efficiency.
• Assisting with development of tooling, fixture and equipment.
• Building tests and repairing equipment comprised of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Training production associates on new products and processes.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Associates degree in a technical/engineering field or equivalent
• 3-year minimum working in a manufacturing environment with basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• Strong mechanical, electrical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings; able to read and electronic schematic diagrams.
• Highly motivated, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with CAD and Excel.
• Hands-on experience with equipment installation and troubleshooting.

• Solidworks experience
• MRP Systems experience (SAGE)
• Experience with computer programming and/or database management
• Ability to troubleshoot Automated Industrial Equipment
