Position: Used Car Manager
We are seeking an experienced Used Car Manager to elevate our sales operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven leader to expand our used vehicle operations. The position offers an aggressive pay/commission plan for the right motivated individual.
Your Daily Work Schedule
- Monitor and manage the dealership's used car inventory.
- Conduct daily reviews of outbound emails and incoming leads on used cars using Dealer Socket.
- Establish and uphold standards for vehicle appraisals and perform appraisals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market conditions and explore new methods to acquire vehicles.
- Communicate weekly with management regarding trade-in vehicles.
- Assist the sales team in effectively closing deals and building customer relationships.
- Leverage your minimum of five years of experience in automotive sales.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability.
- Utilize industry software, inventory management tools, and CRM systems.
- Set recommended unit sales and gross profit objectives for daily operations.
- Organize and lead sales meetings, providing counseling and training to the sales force.
- Ensure all cars are front-line ready, including managing year stickers, plate frames, and the organization of wholesale units.
- Approve sales contracts and assist in closing deals.
- Review advertising and promotional plans with sales staff.
- Prepare forecasts for daily operations.
- At least one year of prior used vehicle sales experience with broad knowledge of all vehicle types.
- A minimum of three years managing inventory at the dealership level.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Reliable and professional, presenting yourself well in business attire.
- Strong work ethic, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Proven customer service skills, showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, reliable, and a positive team player.
- Open to constructive feedback for performance improvement and development.
- Flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in computer and multitasking skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and presentable workplace with attention to detail.
