What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will provide leadership and support on various Human Resources functions and initiatives to all organizational levels in a multi-state environment. You will primarily work from our Minneapolis, MN, Denver, CO, or Austin, TX office with the flexibility to work remotely from home up to two days per week.

What You Will Do:

Key Focus Areas:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to business leaders in support of their division’s people initiatives, leadership effectiveness, and influence in business outcomes.
- Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and translate those into effective HR strategies and plans.
- Establish and sustain productive working relationships with leaders and employees, offering guidance and advice on various HR and business issues at both strategic and operational levels.
- In collaboration with talent acquisition, support the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent, through developing and implementing workforce planning and hiring strategies. Participate in the interviewing and hiring process as needed.
- Partner with managers to develop and implement performance management plans and provide coaching and feedback to improve employee performance and development.
- Manage, facilitate and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provide subject matter expertise on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze people trends and metrics to identify improvement areas and guide HR decisions.
- Stay up to date on HR trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve HR processes and outcomes.
- What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- A minimum of five years of broad Human Resources experience
- Proven ability to develop relationships with individuals at all organizational levels
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, influence decision-makers and implement solutions
- Proven employee relations and active listening skills
- Ability to navigate multiple requests, manage learning projects to meet deadlines and resolve conflicting priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to use technology and data, and drive process efficiencies, including experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred
- A/E/C industry experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to work from various locations
