Partnership Sales Department Overview

The Houston Dynamo Football Club is seeking an individual for the position of Partnership Sales Manager. The Partnership Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. This role is responsible for generating revenue through new and existing corporate sponsors. The team’s mission is to consistently deliver quality and superior service in every area of the partnership, creating a lasting connection between sponsors, Dynamo FC, Dash, Shell Energy Stadium, and Houston Sports Park. The Partnership Sales Manager will assist the Partnership Sales team in reaching and exceeding revenue goals and maintaining the highest quality service possible.

Job Functions

  • Generate new business by selling traditional and non-traditional sponsorship assets to hit sales goals.
  • Maintain an up to date pipeline and communicate effectively to the VP, Corporate Partnerships as prospects move through sales cycle.
  • Utilize research platforms to develop new prospects.
  • Work alongside the Partnership Marketing Team to help execute and service partners.
  • Master use of sponsorship CRM system (Salesforce) for reporting and tracking purposes.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with all necessary internal departments to ensure all sponsorship driven elements or programs are communicated and executed successfully.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 2 year of full-time sports sponsorship and/or ticket sales experience
  • Knowledge of B2B or Sponsorship Services
  • Ability to strive in high-pressure environment
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Photoshop or Graphic Design experience preferred
  • Must be available for home games, as well as sponsor and team-related events and appearances
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
