Perry Roofing is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a CPA license to manage and streamline our financial records. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and manage monthly closings
• Lead payroll processing, tax filing, and benefits deductions
• Prepare financial reports for internal review and external audits
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local financial regulations
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for invoicing and payments
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and job costing activities
• Manage QuickBooks and support integration with CRM
• Provide administrative support for insurance, bonding, and licensing documentation
  
  

Qualifications

• Active CPA license (Required)
• Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, ideally in the trades or services sectors
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with job costing and project accounting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
