Seeking a licensed and board-certified Physiatrist (Neurological Surgery, PM&R, Psychiatry, or Neurology) for a full-time, hybrid telehealth/in-person role assessing U.S. Veterans for disability evaluations.
- Responsibilities include reviewing medical records via a secure Web Portal, performing comprehensive assessments, and completing condition-specific Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) within 24 hours.
- This is a non-treating, assessment-only position focused on medical fact-finding and record analysis.
- Expected to evaluate about 4 Veterans daily, spend at least 50% of the day reviewing records, and demonstrate strong data extraction, analysis, and documentation skills.
- Ideal candidates are proficient typists with excellent time management and a commitment to serving Veterans in their community.
- Requires current medical license and board certification in relevant specialties.
