Job Description
Senior BAE Systems' Electronic Systems (ES) Sector is currently seeking a Financial Analyst Senior, to add to the Material & Inventory Management (MIM) Finance Team. The candidate selected for this position will be supporting a cross functional team responsible for maintaining compliance to our Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS). This candidate will be responsible for inventory controls, reporting, and audits of over $1B of inventory, while engaging with multiple sites, functions, and program teams across the sector. This unique position gives an opportunity to see how BAE Systems functions from both a financial and operational perspective.
This role can be performed in a full-time remote format. There will be occasional in-person meetings with programs, sites, or the broader Program Services Tools and Training (PST&T) Team which may require travel.

Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform monthly inventory account reconciliations and disposition variances in a timely manner
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) through the management of forecast releases with finance leadership
- Analyze financial exposure related to company inventory to ensure sufficient funding is available to support the business
- Monitor and enhance Inventory Metrics to address risks and opportunities for improvement
- Utilizing data analysis, develop and implement innovative solutions to increase efficiencies and eliminate non-value add activities
- Gain exposure to Senior Management through project initiatives such as new tools and processes
- Provide monthly executive level presentations on Inventory KPI s (Aged Inventory, Project Closeout, Residual Material, etc.), and assist in regular internal and external audits
- Support Finance, Operations and Program teams through informal and formal trainings and Learning Sessions
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain procedures and their financial impact to the business
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor s degree in a related field and 4 years of work experience or equivalent experience
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills Word, Power Point, Excel
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, process/results oriented
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written across multiple functions and leadership levels
- Familiarity with DFAR, FAR, MMAS, and general Inventory policies and procedures
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
- Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
- Experience within internal controls, audit and/or accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience formulas (ex: VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF), PivotTables, Filters, etc.
