The opportunity:
The Pet Stop has a dynamic and supportive veterinary team looking for a well-qualified Hospital Administrator to help support the growth and development of our practice. The perfect candidate will be responsible for working alongside the team to accomplish our growth and development goals and support our mission of fostering well-being in the community by tending to the human animal bond with compassionate medical care, emotional support for caregivers and community outreach.
Duties And Responsibilities
Leadership duties include but are not limited to:
Oversight and development of operational functions including establishing and maintaining internal standard operating procedures.
Developing community outreach strategies to generate awareness of HPH service offerings -- including education, marketing, public relations, and participation in community events.
Works with the hospital team to ensure appropriate marketing procedures are implemented.
This is not considered a remote position and will include some travel for leadership conferences.
A qualified candidate will have minimum:

Leadership duties include but are not limited to:
- Practices Excellent Communication Skills
- Oversight of recruiting and hiring process, making recommendations for advancements, and overseeing performance reviews of the support staff.
- Coordinating with all services by organizing and leading regular team meetings and ongoing training.
- Maintaining clear and respectful communications with all team members.
- Fostering and continual improvement of positive culture.
- Acts as a mentor to the entire team.
- Empower the team to act with a sense of business ownership.
- Reviewing monthly financial statements, takes ownership of the practice's financial health.
- Generating and reviewing KPI reports and utilizing information for strategic planning.
- Identifying and making recommendations for potential growth for existing and potential new services.

Developing community outreach strategies to generate awareness of HPH service offerings -- including education, marketing, public relations, and participation in community events.
Works with the hospital team to ensure appropriate marketing procedures are implemented.

A qualified candidate will have minimum:
Education:
- AA or bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- CVPM and veterinary experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in overall operations, financial and facilities management, and/or Human Resources
- This includes two years of job-specific experience in a hospital management role within the veterinary or human health industry.
- Experience leading a large team of individuals preferred.
