The Graphic Designer creates visual concepts using computer software to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers while supporting MVT’s communication and marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with Clients or Management to determine the scope of a project.
• Ability to determine the message a design should portray.
• Create images that identify a product or convey a message.
• Design business cards and other company forms.
• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Design printed promotional materials such as sales flyers, banners, signs, coupons.
• Strategize digital promotional materials for websites, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Test graphics across various media to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images.
• Work with a wide range of media by using different types of graphic design software.  
  
  

Qualifications:

• (Preferred) Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; 2 – 3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficient using Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with WordPress a plus. 
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
