Job Description
Job Title: Human Resources Intern
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Duration: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing documentation and organizing orientation sessions.
- Help maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Participate in HR projects, such as employee engagement programs, training sessions, and diversity initiatives.
- Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other human resources-related issues.
- Coordinate and organize internal HR events and meetings.
- Support various administrative tasks and ad-hoc HR assignments as needed.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Practical experience in HR operations.
- Exposure to a corporate environment and a diverse team.
- Mentorship and training from experienced HR professionals.
- Potential for extension or future employment opportunities.
- $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience
