EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Lead and supervise a team of inspectors performing hardware evaluation and data collection on unserviceable jet engine hardware, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, customer specifications, company standards, and sampling procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage inspection projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budget oversight to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Oversee the use of digital technology and manual measurement tools, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with analysis teams, engineering departments, and clients to validate data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
- Ensure team compliance with strict safety protocols and procedures during equipment operation and inspection activities.
- Monitor and maintain equipment functionality through regular inspections and coordination of maintenance tasks.
- Review and approve documentation of procedures, findings, and data, ensuring clarity, organization, and traceability.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance inspection processes, data collection methods, and team performance.
- Facilitate training and development for inspectors to maintain high standards of technical proficiency and safety awareness.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite and project management tools for reporting, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Digital Technology, or a related field preferred; Associate’s Degree with significant relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or engineering within aviation or aerospace, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience overseeing dimensional/visual inspections on aviation or related equipment (airframe, powerplant, or avionics).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent highly preferred.
- Familiarity with jet engine hardware evaluation and data collection processes strongly preferred.
- Leadership and Team Management: Ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of inspectors to achieve project goals and maintain quality standards.
- Project Management: Proficiency in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for inspection projects.
- Technical Oversight: Strong understanding of engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality assurance processes in aviation/aerospace.
- Data Analysis and Validation: Ability to review and ensure accuracy of data collected using digital technology and measurement tools.
- Computer Literacy: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar).
- Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements for inspection operations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Ability to identify and implement enhancements to inspection workflows and data documentation.
