The Associate Manager - Logistics & Analytics reports to the Director of Supply Chain, with a dotted line to the Senior Manager of Logistics, supporting vendor performance management, continuous improvement and KPI measurement. 80% of this role’s objectives will be project based, supporting various efficiency and cost savings initiatives, as well as ensuring vendor partners are delivering defined service levels through monthly and quarterly performance scorecarding. This exciting position has the opportunity to work on new projects and initiatives from the ground up, helping to execute strategic vision before it is rolled out to the greater team.

Responsibilities

• Create and compile vendor performance reporting on a quarterly basis
• Create analyses to provide senior leaders with data to drive decision-making and begin cost savings and efficiency projects
• Perform project management duties, creating project timelines and plans in conjunction with Director and Senior Manager to drive projects forward and achieve results
• Participate in sustainability efforts, compiling information and calculating Scope 3 emissions with the assistance of the internal sustainability team and Supply Chain Management.
• Schedule, create agendas and coordinate trip plans for Quarterly Business Reviews for strategic partners
• Support Walmart On-Time and In-Full initiatives as needed
• Create reporting in excel with usable slicers, graphs, pivot tables, etc.
• Create presentations and reporting for senior leadership and c-suite consumption
• Compile data and work in conjunction with the Senior Logistics Manager to conduct transportation carrier RFP’s and RFQ’s.
• Support transportation initiatives through data analytics, carrier performance management and other work as directed
  
  

Skills And Background Experience

• 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, etc. or equivalent experience
• 4 years of supply Chain or logistics experience
• Advanced Excel skills including XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, Slicers, Graphs, heavy data compiling, etc.
• Extreme attention to detail, critical thinking, ability to turn out error free, polished work with minimal direction
• Independent worker, ability to see things through to completion, self-motivated
• Ability to grow from an individual contributor to management
