This is an HQ based position subject to the hybrid plan. Recovery Specialist III role includes overseeing subrogation efforts on small, medium, and large non-litigation auto losses, as well as providing administrative support to the Claims Recovery area and its processes. Including but not limited to processing incoming receipts, evaluate referrals to collection firms and arbitration assignments.

Starting salary: T he pay range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be Ready To

  • oversee subrogation efforts on small, medium and large non-litigated losses
  • oversee applicant arbitration filings and collect awards
  • oversee deductible collections
  • process incoming recovery receipts
  • perform specific file review methods
  • work with field associates on effective loss investigation methods
  • manage assignment and processing of incoming receipts not processed automatically
  • evaluating collection firm referral assignments and file copy accesses
  • miscellaneous administrative support as arises or needed
  • assist with auto salvage as needed

Be Equipped With

  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to concentrate and pay attention to detail
  • strong decision-making skills
  • ability to effectively work independently
  • average to above average knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Adobe
  • accounting basics knowledge desired
  • ability to learn claims basics and workflows
  • knowledge of the Claims Management System is valued
  • qualified candidates are willing to take on new responsibilities

Bring Education And Experience From

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • some prior claims knowledge is required
  • willingness to complete the Claims education courses or sessions as needed
