Medical Office Representative - AdventhealthTransfers call to appropriate staff members. Provides the patient chart to the physician or nurse for reference during telephone calls with patients and/or referring physicians.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Assists callers as much as possible with questions, requests
- Schedules, cancels, reschedules, etc. appointment as requested
- Places telephones on and off service as needed
- Makes appointments from telephone requests or for exiting patients.
- Notifies physicians, nurses, managers, social worker and financials counselor of new patient appointments.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
