The position of Human Resource Generalist is far from one-dimensional. You will provide HR Support to the organization, assisting with day-to-day operations. You will ensure that all HR-related policies and procedures comply with standard legal practices. You will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like hiring, organizing trainings, and promoting policies that create an efficient and conflict-free workplace. Some Payroll duties will be included. You will participate in implementing the HR-related and or administrative programing in Pipeline’s grant programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating onboarding plans for new hires to educate them on company guidelines
  • Assist in talent acquisition, recruitment and organizing trainings and other initiatives
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and other policies that relate to efficient agency operations.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form and make certain records are up-to-date and confidential
  • Execute some payroll related responsibilities
  • Assist CEO in community outreach efforts, coordinate meetings, event planning and uses multi-tasking skills in implementing grants and other agency programming.
  • Assist in training and development, identifying training needs, coordinate workshops and support professional development opportunities for employees.

Requirements & Skills

  • Excellent communication and people skills with an aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Therapy Notes Software.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
  • This is primarily a Monday-Friday in-office position with some scheduling flexibility.

Education & Experience

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, administrative assistant or related experience.
  • BA in Business Administration or relevant field.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
