What You Will Be Doing

  • Spearhead campus optimization initiatives, transforming functional spaces into inspiring learning environments
  • Execute precision maintenance strategies, from hands-on repairs to vendor management for complex projects
  • Conduct comprehensive facility audits across fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Lead technical support operations, ensuring seamless integration of educational technology
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance programs that keep our campus at peak performance

  • Basic janitorial or cleaning duties - we have dedicated teams for that
  • Reactive problem-solving - your focus is on strategic prevention and optimization

Facilities Manager Key Responsibilities

Champion the seamless operation of Alpha's Miami campus by orchestrating facility management, vendor relationships, and technology systems to create an optimal learning environment that advances our mission of educational innovation.

Basic Requirements

  • Miami-based or willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided)
  • Proven track record in hands-on facility maintenance and repair
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management and project coordination
  • Experience with facility systems inspection and maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
  • Technical troubleshooting capabilities for educational technology infrastructure
  • Excellence in English communication, both written and verbal
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
