Responsibilities

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Talent Program Analyst to join the Talent Management Center of Excellence (COE). Reporting to the Head of Talent Management, this role will provide essential support to the Talent Management COE to ensure seamless execution of programs and processes that drive organizational growth and development.

As the Talent Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in the delivery of global Talent Management initiatives, including leadership development, performance management, career development, and succession planning. You will collaborate closely with the Talent Management COE, other HR Centers of Excellence, and Business Unit HR teams to provide comprehensive logistical, administrative, and analytical support. Your contributions will help implement scalable and impactful solutions, empowering employees and leaders across the organization to achieve their full potential.

This is a hybrid role and will sit at Howmet’s Corporate Headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Major Activities/key Challenges

  • Support the administration and execution of global Talent Management processes and programs, including performance management, career development, mentoring, and succession planning
  • Own all logistical aspects of leadership development programs, including scheduling and organizing training sessions, managing facilitator availability and assignments, and maintaining clear and timely communication with program participants. Ensure program operations run smoothly by proactively addressing potential conflicts and ensuring all stakeholders are informed and supported throughout the process
  • Aid in the development and maintenance of Howmet’s digital resource libraries available to HR and employees, ensuring content reinforces HR and Talent Management best practices in a user-friendly container
  • Assist in creating and updating tools and resources that help HR Business Partner (HRBP) teams communicate, execute and monitor talent initiatives effectively
  • Contribute to the creation of internal instructional materials such as job aids and how-to guides to simplify various HR and Talent Management best practices and processes for managers and employees
  • Partner with HR Technology to troubleshoot system issues and provide general support to HRBP teams
  • Gather data to monitor program progress and prepare basic reports to support decision-making. Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and materials for HR meetings and leadership discussions
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives within the Talent Management team and other HR COEs as needed

Essential Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Proficient use of productivity tools and software applications to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Familiarity with HR processes, systems, tools, and programs
  • Ability to work with data sets, analyze basic metrics, and prepare reports and presentations based on findings
  • Solid communication skills, verbal and written, to effectively collaborate across teams and provide exceptional customer service to Howmet’s HR community
  • Strong project coordination skills to support talent management projects/programs delivery across Howmet
  • Detail-oriented; demonstrates accuracy in thoroughness in approach to ensure quality in efficiency in work output
  • Solid organizational and time management skills; comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously, capable of managing deadlines while ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day tasks
  • Resourceful; ability to independently navigate challenges by utilizing available resources and using critical thinking skills to assess issues and propose solutions in a dynamic environment
  • Accountable; ensures deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Takes ownership of outcomes and follows through on commitments
  • Intellectually curious; eager to learn and explore new ideas, methods and technologies related to HR and Talent Management
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
