The Senior Principal, Clinical Project Management role is pivotal in driving forward our mission of advancing eye care through development of next generation products. This position is located in Johns Creek, GA.

A typical day will include:

  • Planning, directing, and ensuring detailed communication of clinical timelines
  • Capturing input from cross-functional teams to build comprehensive plans
  • Ensuring consistency of clinical study and processes across clinical trials
  • Overseeing and resolving operational aspects of clinical trials in conjunction with project teams and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), good clinical practice (GCP) and specific country regulations such as site and vendor selection, preparing clinical trial budgets
  • Monitoring progress and following up with team members and line managers when issues develop
  • Implementing and preparing the clinical development strategy as outlined by the clinical teams
  • Developing recruitment strategy for the trial in program

What you'll bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; Bach. +7 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • Proven ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Travel Requirements: 10%
  • Relocation assistance: Yes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical Experience as an OD
  • New product development in optics including myopia
