Position Overview:
- Assist in overseeing daily operations and departmental functions.
- Support the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in key committees (QA, Safety, Infection Control) in the Administrator’s absence.
- Collaborate with department heads to promote teamwork and service excellence.
- Ensure regulatory compliance at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Manage staffing, personnel performance, and staff development initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison among residents, families, staff, and external partners.
- Represent the facility during surveys, inspections, and audits.
- Uphold resident rights, safety, confidentiality, and quality of care.
- Proven leadership and administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Solid understanding of long-term care regulations and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to high-quality care and professional development.
- Associate’s degree in business or health administration preferred.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, families, and regulatory bodies.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Professional, tactful, and capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
