Information Security Analyst

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

Pay Range:

$41.79 - $62.68

What You’ll Be Doing

Supports all team activities to ensure the safety of Information Systems Assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Entry-level support for IT and Data Governance security standards and procedures. Assists department with successful execution of data risk management across business areas through the implementation of data control and data governance activities. Demonstrated entry level knowledge of IT industry trends and emerging technologies and an ability to relate them to the company and its objectives.

• Assist with monitoring the organization’s networks for security breaches upon request from team members, ensuring appropriate security measures are in place to maintain confidentiality, availability, and integrity.
• Assist the team with required annual audits and exams.
• Support the ITS Division and Internal Audit liaison responsibilities, including engagement, artifact collection, content review, and coordination with department SMEs for final review and delivery within stated timelines.
• Assist in the collection and review of reporting metrics for various IT reporting committees.
• Assist with IT Governance Assessments to align with ITS Division risk appetite statements and risk tolerance measurements.
• Assist in the collection and review of control validation monitoring and reporting, supporting the Senior Analyst in the annual CIS control audit.
• Assist with Information Security Program Risk Assessment management.
• Assist SMEs in addressing additional security concerns with third-party vendors.
• Create, communicate, and educate ISMS/Data Governance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist in coordinating quarterly external penetration testing engagements with third parties.
• Assist with installing and using software such as antivirus and data encryption programs to protect sensitive information.
• Support security tool configuration, daily maintenance, updating antivirus/malware monitoring tools, and responding to security alerts and other information security measures.

• Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of prior relevant experience required
• Security+ preferred
• ITIL v4 preferred
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Perform basic analysis as it related to information security.
• Excellent communication skills written/verbal
• Work closely with IT, security teams, and other stakeholders to enhance data security.
