Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an organized and motivated individual to fill the vacancy of a Procurement & Supply Specialist 4 in Vancouver, WA. This supervisory position will manage all procurement and inventory activities for the Southwest Region (SWR). In this role, you will serve as the program expert required to administer the SWR Purchasing and Inventory Management program which includes monitoring capital assets, consumable inventory, and stockpile inventory to assure optimum use of state funds. Responsibilities include supervising purchasing staff and performing region-wide procurement management of daily purchases, inventory items, and special requests (WEBS). The candidate selected for this position must be able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, possess the ability to quickly develop and foster positive working relationships, have a keen attention to detail, and provide timely and professional customer service.
