The Director of Business Operations is a key contributor to ensuring that Netceed runs effectively and efficiently by combining analytical, operational, and strategic expertise.
Responsibilities
- Create and review performance reports and identify opportunities to build upon sustainable company growth.
- Engage with leaders by utilizing the tools to monitor metrics while identifying challenges and taking advantage of growth opportunities.
- Evaluate real-time analysis of data and implement a high-level strategy to increase profitability. Monitor the P&L statements of the company and develop effective ways to close the gaps between actual performance and company projections.
- Analyze business reporting and create recommendations/actions to the attainment of yearly budgetary and contribution goals, prioritizing performance to ensure issues impacting office growth, revenue, and profitability (EBITDA) are addressed first.
- Work cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to create and implement strategic projects that contribute to achieving Netceed's revenue goal.
- Serve as a point of escalation for operational matters.
- Provide coaching and guidance to direct reports including:
- Ensure that team members are consistently performing to company standards
- Build an open-communication environment for your team.
- Recruit, interview, and hire for open positions within the team.
- Provide directions and take appropriate corrective action when applicable.
- Conduct performance appraisals and merit reviews of team members.
- Optimally manage staff focus of work, work hours, and quality of work, to maximize team results.
- 10+ years experience in leadership roles at manufacturing or distribution companies.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, strong accounting, marketing, financial and operational knowledge.
- Experience working with executive leaders to achieve company goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills are required.
- Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of staff throughout the organization.
