JOB DESCRIPTION
The Provider Recruiter partners with Centra Medical Group leaders, Centra executives, and providers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of Centra Medical Group to find and deliver talent. This position nurtures relationships with prospective talent and manages on-going relationships with Centra leaders and current Centra providers. The Provider Recruiter is a contributor to the growth of Centra and provides the talent that makes Centra successful.

Responsibilities
- Develops strong relationships and partners with hiring managers, business leaders, and Human Resources
- Uses strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent at a multi-site healthcare system. This position focuses on recruiting talent for Physician and Advanced Practice Provider roles
- Partners with Centra and Centra Medical Group (CMG) leaders to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives
- Works with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria; Maximizes effectiveness of recruiting process
- Tracks and reports key metrics designated to measure and predict staffing activity
- Utilizes search strategy that may include use of advertising sources and vendors, as well as other outreach techniques to target the right talent
- Develops and delivers talent and provider recruitment presentations stakeholders
- Produces memos, mailings, or other compelling marketing materials; Coordinates the distribution of recruiting materials as needed
- Assists Provider Recruitment Director with monitoring the cost of all materials and recruiting efforts; follows budget/financial limits
- Assists team in developing and participating in provider engagement and retention events and strategies
- Must be local to Lynchburg, Virginia area
- In person requirements for onsite interviews
- Travel required for conferences and events about twice per quarter, but subject to change
- Some weekend events required
- Hybrid work schedule
- Other duties as assigned
- Required Education: High School Diploma / GED
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Local to Lynchburg, VA area
- In person requirements for onsite interviews, events, and some meetings
- At least one (1) year of staffing/recruiting experience, including experience mapping and sourcing resumes for a variety of sources.
- If not one (1) year of staffing/recruiting experience, at least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare field.
- Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
- Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes
- Experience recruiting medical doctors or other healthcare positions
