Job Summary
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to develop AI-powered solutions that drive innovation across Semtech. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI implementation, design and develop AI applications, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $80,000 - $115,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.

Job Summary
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to develop AI-powered solutions that drive innovation across Semtech. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI implementation, design and develop AI applications, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, production-grade AI systems and machine learning pipelines
- Support the technical integration of AI capabilities into existing products and services
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and AI use cases
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Partner with business stakeholders to define AI product roadmaps and feature prioritization
- Establish best practices for AI development, testing, and deployment
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Post Graduate Courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning.
- 2 years of hands-on experience developing AI/ML applications
- Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and UI/UX principles
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of data processing, feature engineering, and model deployment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience implementing AI solutions in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with natural language processing or computer vision projects
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
