Job Summary
The Creative Director will lead the strategic development and execution of brand storytelling, creative campaigns, and integrated experiential concepts for client events and activations. As a senior leader within Edge, this role will drive the agency’s creative vision, develop innovative narratives that resonate across diverse channels, and ensure delivery of breakthrough experiences. This position will report directly to the SVP, Creative & Technology and will be responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, content creators, and creative producers to bring client visions to life.

Job Summary
The Creative Director will lead the strategic development and execution of brand storytelling, creative campaigns, and integrated experiential concepts for client events and activations. This position will report directly to the SVP, Creative & Technology and will be responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, content creators, and creative producers to bring client visions to life.
Essential Functions
- Develop and lead bold, insight-driven creative strategies that translate client objectives into
- Direct the development of event branding, theme ideation, scripting, environmental design,
- Serve as the agency’s creative point of contact in high-stakes pitches, presentations, and project delivery, ensuring ideas are well-formed, strategically aligned, and visually captivating
- Build and manage a high-performing team of creative professionals while mentoring talent and fostering a collaborative, feedback-driven environment
- Oversee the creative development process from brief to execution, including timelines,
- Partner with executive producers, production technology, strategy, and business development teams to ensure integrated creative and technical excellence
- Stay attuned to cultural trends, design innovation, technology, and storytelling formats that can be leveraged for creative differentiation
- Act as a creative brand steward, ensuring all work aligns with EDGE's standards of innovation, integrity, and immersive brand expression
- Manage creative budgets and scopes, allocating resources effectively and presenting project
- Prepare and present creative rationale, mood boards, copy, visuals, and conceptual decks to
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Design, or related field is preferred
- At least 12 years of experience in Event Production Technology leadership roles, with proven track record of managing high-profile and complex Event Production technology project from inception to completion
- Successful history of managing operations and delivery teams for High Profile Global Events
- Strong business communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Proficiency in Service Delivery and Billing platforms, and the ability to generate high-quality insights into daily operations activity and progress
- Exceptional team builder, internally and externally
- Production and Staging experience is preferred
- Scenic and Décor experience is preferred
- Rigging, Electrical, Lighting and Exhibit experience is preferred
- Audiovisual, Sound and Broadcast experience is preferred
- Temporary Labor and Nationwide Union jurisdictions and rules expertise is preferred

- Proven track record leading creative strategy and execution for brand experiences, campaigns, and live events
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual strength, visual storytelling, and experiential execution
- Expertise in environmental design, content creation, event branding, and cross-platform storytelling that aligns with customers vision and goals
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing budgets and timelines for event production technology projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with technology vendors, partners, and employees
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate new and emerging technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
