Advance special TMX projects as assigned using skills, knowledge, and abilities gained through experience and education.

Position Summary: Ensure the timely and accurate collection and submission of payroll data to our home office to process our weekly payroll. Advance special TMX projects as assigned using skills, knowledge, and abilities gained through experience and education.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Facilitate employee timecards via Kronos or via spreadsheets completed and approved
- Track absentee’s, PTO, update TM Attendance folders
- Run Daily production and direct OT reports in Cognos
- Reviews payroll documentation for accuracy and makes any necessary adjustments
- E-verify, personal action request (PAR)
- Collaborates with Operations to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes. Makes updates as necessary
- Researches and resolves questions from Team Members as they relate to the processing of payroll information such as vacation, holiday, direct deposit, garnishments, employment verifications, workers’ compensation, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, and other changes
- Assist with the creation of company policies, procedures, job descriptions, and other documentation for the TMX program
- Screen policies and practices to ensure that we comply with federal and local state laws.
- Serve as a key participant in the advancement of special TMX projects
- Serve as a back-up to the Payroll Coordinator
- Assist the TMX Coordinator with projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR preferred
- 5 years’ experience with computerized payroll processing
- 5 years’ experience in a human resource role preferred
- Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems and/or Kronos a plus
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Trustworthy – capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines
- Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization
- Knowledge of all HR “acronym” components related to employment law and relations
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
