JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: The Assembler is responsible for

assembling a variety of components as part of the overall machine

assembly process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble parts

or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies,

subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools. Connect

cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Read blueprints

and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences

of electromechanical units. Operate small cranes to transport or

position large parts. Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit

and assembly. Assembles components, such as tracks, bases, tables,

columns, shuttle tables, oil reservoir tanks, and special components

prior to completing total assembly of machine. Prepares and installs

electrical components and hydraulic tubing and systems for machine

operation. Checks and resolves minor operational problems and works with

engineering to solve fit or mechanical problems. Powers up newly

assembled machines to see if machine and/or parities equipment performs

as required. May use powered industrial truck (forklift) and other

material moving machinery. Keeps assigned work area clean, orderly, and

safe. Adheres to all safety rules outlined in the safety manual and

Employee Handbook. Performs Other Related Duties As Required And

assigned. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Assembler

must have competent knowledge of principles and practices in the

following areas: 1. Ability to work well with coworkers 2. Ability to

read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, hydraulic circuit

prints, and elementary diagrams 3. Ability to use various measuring

instruments 4. Demonstrated knowledge of machine operation 5. Ability to

work on or beneath machines and in close quarters when performing the

testing process 6. Ability to recognize applicable hazardous energy

sources, the type and magnitude of the energy in the facility, and the

specific methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control by

receiving Lockout/Tagout Training. 7. Detail oriented \*\*\*\*\*
