The Connect55+ Activities Coordinator job responsibilities include the following:
Onsite Management of the Connect55+ Activities program: Responsible for the overall onsite management of the Connect55+ Activities program and controlling the activities budget.
Activity Programming: Work with the management team to create a full monthly calendar of activities for every month which will include a variety of different events.
Conduct Activities: Implement fun and interesting activities to engage residents? minds, bodies and spirits. Plan, coordinate and participate in a variety of resident activities and events. Involve all residents to find their niche in the community and its ongoings.
Develop Activities beyond the scheduled events: Responsible for developing scheduled group activities beyond the routine calendared events, that provide engagement through the (biopsychosocial model or a holistic approach) as well as meaningful activities of daily living for all residents in the Connect55+ Active Adult Community. Guest lectures and entertainment.
Support strategic partnerships with local community representatives in arts, education, health, etc.
Qualified Candidates Will Have The Following Characteristics
Meaningful onsite experience providing activities and events
Comfortable in public speaking and engagement
Experience working with Seniors a plus
Computer knowledge
Self-Starter
Problem Solver
Senior Living Experience
