This role ensures alignment with brand vision, drives guest engagement, and supports marketing and operational goals through digital platforms and content creation.

Position Summary:
The Social Media & Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies across a multi-property region. This role ensures alignment with brand vision, drives guest engagement, and supports marketing and operational goals through digital platforms and content creation.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develops, implements, and manages operational goals, tracking performance and profitability within the assigned area.
- Designs and executes both organic and paid social media strategies tailored to each property while maintaining brand consistency.
- Creates and manages a content calendar for paid and organic social media campaigns.
- Attends on-site events and promotions to capture engaging content, interact with guests, and enhance brand visibility.
- Writes compelling copy and designs visual content for organic social media posts.
- Maintains and updates property social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), ensuring timely and relevant content.
- Meets regularly with property leadership and participates in marketing meetings to align digital strategies with overall property goals.
- Collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective campaign execution.
- Coordinates with the Corporate Design Studio to access professional photography and ensure proper usage rights.
- Monitors and responds to online reviews, managing the property’s digital reputation.
- Conducts social media and market research to inform strategy and provide actionable insights.
- Delivers performance reports and analytics for organic social media, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Assists in the departmental budgeting process, providing recommendations and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Submits advertising and media requests through InMotion in partnership with the property marketing team.
- Ensures all tasks and content are delivered on schedule in accordance with the content calendar.
- Enhances guest interactions by offering friendly greetings, directions, and assistance, creating a welcoming and upbeat environment.
- Upholds superior customer service standards in line with company values.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and reports potential issues to Executive Management or the General Manager.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all company and departmental matters.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support the success of the marketing and operations team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience managing communications across multiple channels, including direct mail, email, and social media.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for engagement and content strategy.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as InMotion and Social Studio is highly preferred.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Skilled in delivering clear, confident presentations and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and address guest or team concerns with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Solid mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret data visualizations such as bar graphs.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet goals and deliver outcomes efficiently.
