Senior Test Engineer II, Johnson Matthey, Inc., Taylor, MI:
Monitor test cells to make sure customer test requirements are being met. Accountable for creating best practices and lessons learnt documents and publish them site wide. Oversee data processing templates. Initiate, contribute, and actively drive improvements in the quality, efficiency, and safety of the test cell area. Provide temporary management of engineering and technical staff in the absence of Testing Manager. Provide technical support to calibration engineers to help in the analysis of catalyst performance problems and assists in the diagnosis and solution of these problems.
Telecommuting permitted up to 20% within Michigan state.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or related role in the Internal Combustion Engine Testing industry. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 years of additional related work experience in the Internal Combustion Engine Testing industry. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related role in the Internal Combustion Engine Testing industry.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in all of the following:
