We are seeking an experienced Sr Document Control Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This pivotal role requires an individual who is skilled in managing and overseeing all aspects of document control processes to ensure our projects run smoothly and efficiently. The Sr Document Control Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective document control procedures, contributing to the success of construction projects by ensuring compliance with both internal standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all documents are accurate, current, and accessible. This role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure while managing competing priorities.

This role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure while managing competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce document control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Manage the flow of documents both internally and externally, ensuring that all critical project documentation is properly tracked and archived.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure that document submissions are timely and complete, facilitating project progress.
- Implement and maintain document management software and tools that enhance project efficiency and accessibility of information.
- Conduct regular audits of the document control process to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare training materials and provide training sessions for staff on document control practices and software use.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in document control within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of document control processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience with document management software and tools, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
