Overview
PepsiCo is looking for a proactive, curious, and highly organized Community Coordinator to join our global communications social media team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for digital storytelling, real-time engagement, and identifying meaningful moments to connect with our audiences across platforms.
As a key player on our social media team, you’ll be the eyes and ears of our brand across social, helping to shape how PepsiCo’s stories show up in conversations that matter. You’ll work closely with our strategy, creative, and customer care teams to foster a positive, timely, and engaging social presence.
Responsibilities
Real-Time Monitoring & Engagement

Responsibilities
Real-Time Monitoring & Engagement
- Monitor social platforms daily to identify relevant cultural moments, consumer conversations, and trending topics for brand participation.
- Engage directly with users in a manner that aligns with brand voice and tone, fostering community and brand affinity.
- Own day-to-day publishing across PepsiCo’s owned social media channels, ensuring content goes live as planned and is optimized for each platform.
- Support ongoing editorial calendar needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with broader brand and business objectives.
- Respond to comments, messages, and mentions across platforms to drive positive engagement and deepen relationships with followers.
- Coordinate with Customer Experience team to ensure all inbound social responses are read and categorized
- Escalate potential risks, customer concerns, or emerging crises to appropriate stakeholders in a timely and thoughtful manner.
- Identify and propose reactive or trend-based content ideas based on platform behavior, cultural moments, and audience feedback.
- Bring insights from the community to inform creative development and content strategy.
- Track and report on social media metrics and provide real-time feedback to improve content effectiveness.
- Collaborate with strategy and analytics teams to surface actionable insights from day-to-day interactions.
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $64,300 - $107,650.

- 2-3 years of experience in social media, community management, digital publishing, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube) and their respective best practices.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to reflect brand voice across different scenarios.
- Familiarity with social publishing and monitoring tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout, Emplifi, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond quickly to emerging opportunities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; comfort working across teams and time zones.
