Your Role

Tetra Tech, an industry leader and nationally recognized engineering and consulting firm, is seeking candidates to fill a full-time Senior Multi-Media Environmental Compliance Site Lead position supporting NASA AFRC, CA. This position is onsite at AFRC and will require daily interaction and communication with NASA personnel.

• Serve as the Site Lead for a multi-media environmental compliance contract that covers hazardous waste, air quality, water quality, storage tank, cultural resources, natural resources, and National Environmental Compliance Act (NEPA) compliance.
• Coordinate all activities required by the contract; schedule and lead client meetings; and produce contract status reports.
• Support Tetra Tech’s Project Manager with financial tracking.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required.
  
  

The salary range for this position is $95-110K. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering, science, or related field is required
• 5 years of experience as a direct supervisor of personnel
• 10+ years of environmental compliance experience is required
• 10+ years of project management experience is required
• 5+ years of experience working with NASA is preferred
• Knowledge of California environmental regulations is required
• Knowledge of NASA environmental guidelines, systems, and processes is preferred
• Current HAZWOPER training is required for this position.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to client sites.
• Must be detail oriented to properly document all environmental compliance activities occurring across the contract.
