We're looking for a Senior People Business Partner (Contractor) to join our team immediately through September 30th (with potential to extend). This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. You'll work closely with business leaders and employees to deliver end-to-end people support, from coaching and performance guidance to employee relations and organizational development.

As a trusted advisor, you'll bring a strong understanding of U.S. employment standards and HR best practices. You'll be a key partner in driving people strategies that align with business goals, while remaining agile and adaptable to shifting priorities in our evolving startup environment. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and operational execution.

Please note that this is a contractor position with an end date of September 30th, with the potential for extension.

What You'll Do

  • Support HR operations and act as a strategic HR business partner
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives in:
  • Compensation strategy and analysis
  • HR compliance
  • People analytics
  • Performance management and talent reviews
  • Collaborate with Finance on total compensation philosophy and budgeting by function
  • Provide flexible support across HR functions as needed
  • Help ensure team continuity during vacations or unplanned absences
  • Reduce workload pressure and prevent burnout across the People & Culture team
